Children Library

Many of the children in Musese village have never been to a library as the closest library is Kimilili township which is quite far thus making it expensive for them since they will need to board a matatu (bus). This library is actually the only public library in the whole of Bungoma county and is not well equipped. The church, in partnership with Amka Trust would like to set up a library open to all the children in Musese and neighbouring villages in order to promote a reading culture among the children. This will give them an opportunity to learn more beyond the classroom and help them develop an interest in knowing more about other parts of the world/cultures.

You can support us by donating books and e-learning material suitable for children below the age of 14 years. Financial contributions are also welcome as this will help us to locally purchase books by African authors.
