Musese Village Ministries
Projects

Medical Clinic
In 2009, a team went to Musese Village and did a "pop-up" medical clinic as a part of the mission trip. After the trip, members of the team donated medical supplies to Musese, and a semi-permanent building was added to the church property. In 2011, the medical clinic opened for three days a week, and popularity for the clinic grew in the community with hundreds of people were coming each day to be treated. One of the most common illnesses in the area is malaria, a parasitical disease, and is treated almost everyday. Without medicine, malaria is a deadly illness, killing approximately 2000 people per day worldwide. In the late 2010s, a permanent building was built for the medical clinic. The clinic has grown to be a government recognized medical facility, and starting in 2024, is now open 7 days per week. The clinic is able to perform minor surgery, prescribe medication, and run a variety of lab testing. The clinic's current goal is to add a second building to the medical clinic for a maternity ward.

School
The Musese church property opened a school in 2008. For the first eight years, students at the school received sponsorships to attend the school. Now, donations for Musese Village Ministries support the students at the school. The school gives education to students in the community who would otherwise not be able to afford it. All students at the Musese School receive: school supplies, uniforms, and two meals per day.

Widow Ministry
The widow ministry began in 2017. In the years since, hundred of widows and their children have received either monthly or yearly support for their needs. Money for the widows goes towards food, employement, housing and school fees for their children. In the past year, a group of widows used their support to open a small restaurant to earn an income for their families. Pray the Lord would continue to provide for the widows.
